He died at home in San Antonio on December 13, 2022, at the age of 84, surrounded by his loving wife and all his children.

She was born on November 28, 1948, to Lee Roy and Gladyne Alley in Uvalde, Texas Mary Jean was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James L. Alley; and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Alley. Mary Jean is survived by one brother, Roy Alley of Carrizo Springs; one sister-in-law, Kathy Alley of Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Refugia Guadalupe Uriegas Talavera of Uvalde passed away peacefully on December 5, 2022, at Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 93. She was born on May 8, 1929, in Uvalde to Maximina and Refugio Ramos Uriegas. She married Manuel Alfonso Talavera on December 18, 1949, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Uvalde.

Maria De La Luz Esquibel of La Pryor passed away on December 14, 2022 at her home in La Pryor at the age of 79. She was born on September 13, 1943 in Pharr, Texas to Paula and Eduardo Gomez. She married Tomas Esquibel on February 6, 1965 in Elgin, Ill.
